    "VICTOR ENGLAND" VINTAGE CREAM/SOFT WHITE KITCHEN SCALES 7 QUALITY BRASS BELL WEIGHTS
    Please note there is no weights pan with these scales. Weights are placed directly onto the stand.
    The scales have been used but the paintwork is in excellent condition.
    They balance well. Should they ever get out of balance, rather unlikely, there is a small box of ball bearings on the underside of the weights stand which is accessed by pulling out sideways.
    There is some
    discolouration in the brass bowl. Brass is soft and when potentially corrosive stuff, like salt, is placed in the bowl and not wiped clean a reaction happens and the surface of the brass is affected. Sometimes it can be almost all removed but it rather depends on how long the stuff was left in there. Almost every bowl I come across has some similar marks. There is also a dent in the base. As the bowl is so shiny these marks do not detract from the overall apperance.
    They are a nice size, 10.5” wide, 9" high and 8” high, including the bowl not taking up too much room on your worktop.

    I will mail these scales from the UK. I have reviewed the delivery performance of my UK courier and it is between 2 and 7 days, an average of 4 days. For other destinations such as China delivery will be around 15 working days.
    All items I sell are packaged very carefully in accordance with Royal Mail guidelines.
    You may be concerned that they have to be sent such a long way but I can assure you there is no need. I use large sturdy boxes and pack all the spaces so they remain rigid. The scales are wrapped in bubble wrap and bound with tape so they do not move about. The weights are packed separately also in bubble wrap.
    I have sold many scales to the USA, Canada and Worldwide and ALL have arrived safely.
    I will ship to mainland Europe and elsewhere in the World apart from Russia and PO BOXES.
