Up For Purchase Is A Vintage Slide Balance Reliance Pitless U.S. Hanging Beam Meat Scale 10,000 Pounds
This scale was just found at an estate sale with other butcher items from a family that had a meat packing house in San Fransisco in the 1930's. It is in overall good condition for its age and the sliding weight is in working condition. The numbers seam to be brass on the scale and this scale is rated for 10,000 pounds. There are no cracks in the scale and it still has its original tag. This scale measures 41 1/2" long by 10 1/2" wide by 3" thick and this item will be bubble wrapped and shipped with care.
