Hello, you are viewing my listing for a Vintage Decorative Scale with an American Eagle Finial.  This is a Hands Of Justice Scale that is made from Brass Metal.  It is meant more as a decorative item rather than a functional scale.  The scale does tip left or right depending on the weight that is present on both sides.  If you loosen the eagle on the top the scale will work in that aspect.  This brass scale weighs 9.8 pounds and measures 24" tall by 26" wide by 10" deep at the bottom base.  There is some minor wear present however there are no breaks, bends, or repairs.  The two arms on the sides can be removed since they are only resting on the body.  I have shown this in the photographs that I have provided.  Local pickup is accepted.
