Vintage Brass Turkey Onyx Made In Italy “Scales Of Justice” Balance Scale Rare

This unique and rare “Scales of Justice” is a lovely, small piece with 3 claw feet. It is believed to be made of solid brass and onyx from Turkey. It is the perfect size to sit on someone’s desk. Perhaps you have an aspiring lawyer you could gift this to. It is approximately 6 1/2” wide by 5 1/2” tall. There is one chip on one of the removable onyx saucers. On the other saucer, there are some fracture lines along the edge but no chips. Also, when the saucers are removed, due to the age of this piece, there are spots of discoloration on the brass plates. Still a lovely piece as these flaws are minor. Please see all pictures.
