    Description

Rare Victorian Era British Service Belt with Brass Belt Buckle, Great Patina, Lots of History of the British Empire here.  Dieu Et Mon Droit=God and My Right.  This item is from the reign of Queen Victoria who was  the monarch from 1837-1901. The Belt is in remarkable shape for being no less than 115 years old. The belt as shown is set for a waist of no more than 36 inches but there is plenty of room to let it out for a much larger waist.  This belt is purported to have seen service in the Boer War ( 1900 ) and has some remarkable history attached to it.  If you look closely on both sides of the buckle you will observe that snips of leather were removed and used to clean this soldiers rifle with a bit of oil.  This was at the end of her reign where countless wars were fought consolidating and keeping her empire intact.  Freight quoted for domestic United States only. International not a problem, just needs to be quoted separately.
