  • Condition: Sixth-plate ambrotype housed in a embossed leather case with its original fabric hinge and the working metal clasp. The case and the hinge show wear, the red velvet padding has a tear, the brass casing has a few small spots, the image is flaking in places but remains vivid. While the girls are very close in appearance, one appears to be older than the other.
