    Description

    We are offering three 1/6 Plate Ruby Ambrotypes of Women: one is by R. E. Burns; one is by J. Kolbeck.
    1.)
    1/6 Plate Cased Ruby Ambrotype of a Pretty Woman.  Photograph by R. E. Burns.  Velvet pillow is imprinted with "R. E. Burns.  Artist.  365 8th Avenue, N.Y."
    The woman is dressed in an attractive striped dress and is wearing long earrings.  Her cheeks are slightly pinkened, and she is holding a book in her right hand.
    CONDITION: Ambrotype is in Excellent Condition.  Brass frame & mat are also in Excellent Condition.  Case is in Excellent Condition, clasp is intact - leather shows very minor wear and a repair has been made to the spine.
    2.)
    1/6 Plate Cased Ruby Ambrotype of a Young Girl.  Photograph by J. Kolbeck.  Velvet pillow is imprinted with "J. Kolbeck.  43 North 8th. St.  Philad'a".
    The girl has long "rag" curls, her cheeks and lips have been pinkened and the broach at her neck is tinted gold.
    CONDITION: Ambrotype is in Excellent Condition.  Brass frame & mat are also in Excellent Condition.  Case is in Excellent Condition, clasp is intact - leather shows some minor wear and a repair has been made to the spine.

    1/6 Plate Cased Ruby Ambrotype of a Young Woman.
    The woman is dressed in a lovely dress.  Her cheeks have been pinkened, and the woven "throw" on the table has also been colored pink and green.
    CONDITION:  Ambrotype is in Excellent Condition.  Brass frame & mat are also in Excellent Condition.  Case is in Excellent Condition, clasps are intact - and a repair has been made to the spine.
