Tactical pen made with Wenge wood and glass breaker tip, chrome hardware

Description

This is hand-turned pen made from a block of Wenge which contrasts nicely with the chrome metal of this tactical self-defense pen.  Wenge is a very dark wood, with alternating black and chocolate brown wood grain.  It is also an open grain wood so the finish isn't perfectly smooth due to small voids in the wood - kind of like oak.
Why have the same mass-produced glass breaker pen everybody else has?  This description comes from my hardware supplier:

The wood from the pen is sanded to 600 grit then finished with a sanding polish and finally coats of friction polish wax. The hardware is bright chrome.
It has a Parker style ink refill.  If you need to replace the refill, simply pull the two halves of the pen apart, unscrew the twist mechanism to get to the refill, and replace it.  Refills are available at any office supply store.
