If you're like many, you may have literally hundreds of old slides, negatives, transparencies and photos  taken years ago before the rise of the now, digital world.  In our current world, memories, remembrances and good times are shared throughout social media, through emails and messaging and in web content everyday on a digital level.  Rather than forget and dismiss the old photo process, we can bring them back and introduce our past into the new digital world.   Although the process we used to take to photograph in the past is now nearly abandoned, the memories we achieved through that process, are far from lost.
Imagine the ability to digitally share old birthday parties, images of friends, family and relatives, the good times and celebrations from years ago within the digital world of today.  To accomplish this we use state of the art scanning devices specifically designed for this purpose.  These devices scan your original slides, film negatives or photos and render an output in a high resolution digital format.  These are not the typical flatbed scanners we have all grown accustomed to, but a dedicated slide and film scanners capable of producing tremendous resolution and colors far greater than a typical flatbed scanner.

This sale is for up to 50 standard scans of your old slides, negatives, medium format transparencies and films!  Our standard scans are conducted at a resolution of 3600dpi. with an output format as JPG digital file. At this resolution you can expect each image, on average:
Image file size on disk: JPG/776KB, Image Dimensions: 3216 x 4800px, reasonable print size: 10.7" x 16".
Yes, our scans do include the typical dust and scratch removal both by IR channel scanning and/or ICE technology, but if you've had this done before, you know that these automated removal techniques are not perfect.  We, at TVS Imagewerks, know your photos are more important than solely depending on an automated process!  We go step further and actually look at the rendered file and correct obvious artifacts not caught by these automatic dust and scratch filters - I'll bet the others don't!  Do we do a full restoration on your images?  No, such process is time consuming and relatively expensive.  But we do check clarity, sharpness, color depth and contrast.
Our hope in this process is that when you need, or want a full restoration, or need a 9600dpi high resolution TIF file, or you have that special image that needs attention, we've earned your trust to do the work.
For this sale and after purchase, you will be required to send us your films to our shipping address as provided.  Upon completion of your film batch, your originals, as well as a CD containing your new digital scanned images will be shipped back.  You can expect your scan process to take no longer than 3 business days after receipt of originals.  Cost of return shipping is included in this sale.  There will be no further, or surprise charges after this sale.
