In fantastic condition with some tarnishing around the edges. Not many of these being offered. This is a complete model that includes 5 weights (4oz, 2oz, 1oz, and two 1/2 ozs). Still fully functional and accurate but also wonderful to simply display with beautiful floral detailing on base. Approx. 8.75”W x 3.25” H x 5.25”D
This scale belonged to my great uncle who lived to be 99 years old and who kept his NYC studio apartment in pristine condition for the 50 or so years he lived there. His decor never changed as long as I knew him and his taste was refined and elegant. I believe that every item he owned was distinctly selected and uniquely regarded, likely acquired from his younger days of traveling. This item is so lovely and would be best in a home with someone who truly appreciates beautifully crafted antiques like this one.
