    Description

    Portrait by Brady- Great Great Grandson of Signer of the
    Constitution 1/2 plate Ambrotype of 4 1/2 year old Frederick
    Gore King, taken on June 2 1857 (inscribed in the brass mat).
    Frederick is casually standing on an ornate photographer’s
    chair and is wearing a striped dress and holding a straw hat.
    Maker marked on the brass mat. Thermoplastic case, a few
    minor chips, but in beautiful condition. Frederick was the great- great grandson of Rufus
    King.
