Here is a rare and interesting original Belgian movie poster from what I believe was a compilation of silent comedy shorts and Looney Tunes cartoons that was shown in Belgium in the late 1940's or early 1950's. I don't know too much about this poster since I have never seen another copy before. The words/titles on the poster are in French and refer to
Two Hours Of Laughter
featuring a few Mack Sennett films starring Ben Turpin and Billy Bevan,  some Warner Bros. Looney Tunes cartoons along with a Joe McDoakes short. This large poster is in very good condition and probably dates from after the end of WWII. It is quite rare and very colorful with some great images of Ben, Billy, Joe, Bugs and Sylvester.  It's also in very good shape for a movie poster of this age. This wonderful poster seldom (if ever) comes up for sale or auction and would make a great addition to anyone's silent comedy or classic cartoon movie poster collection.

COUNTRY OF ORIGIN/SIZE: Belgium  23" x 33"
CONDITION:  Very Good Folded Condition.  Remnants of a theater exhibition snipe affixed in the untrimmed top white border. A small bit of paper loss in the area near Joe McDoakes' cheek. A few minor tears and pinholes in the white borders with a piece of paper missing in top border none of which affects the artwork.  This poster was folded as originally issued and has been stored folded for 19 years and will be shipped folded in a rigid envelope.
