Here is a wonderful original Belgian movie poster from the 1st release of Joe May's second entry in Universal Pictures' Invisible Man series,
The Invisible Man Returns
. In this sequel, Vincent Price played a man wrongfully sentenced to death for the murder of his brother. He is given a serum that makes him invisible in order to escape authorities and prove his innocence. The film received an Oscar nomination for Best Special Effects. This poster is from the first release of the
movie in Belgium shortly after the end of the war in Europe (probably in 1946) since it carries the Universal Pictures logo that was no longer used after mid 1946 when the studio became know as Universal-International. It is printed in the smaller immediate post-war format on the reverse of another poster which was common practice at the time in order to conserve paper immediately after WWII. It seldom comes up for sale or auction and the artwork is unique to this Belgian release poster. Another beautiful example of outstanding Belgian movie poster art.

COUNTRY OF ORIGIN / SIZE: Belgium  11.5" x 16.5"
CONDITION:
Very Good Untrimmed Unfolded Condition.  A small foxing spot in the top untrimmed border. Slightest overall yellowing of paper. Printed on the back of a portion of another movie poster. Artwork is completely intact. Originally Unfolded as originally issued, this poster has been stored flat for the past 22 years and will be shipped rolled in a sturdy tube.
