  • Condition: Good Condition On Linen. Prior to linenbacking this poster was slightly trimmed on all four sides, but printer and country of origin information remains in bottom border. Poster has an overall yellowing and somewhat faded look after nearly 75 years. This may be inherent to the poster art since I have never seen another example of this poster for comparison. Artwork is intact but there are signs of prior folds and creases apparent to the trained eye even after the backing process. Poster has been stored flat for the past 20 years and will be shipped rolled in a sturdy tube.

    Next up is this rare Belgian movie poster from the original 1940's release of Universal Pictures follow-up to
    The Invisible Man Returns
    . This film was conceived as wartime propaganda to boost morale on the home front. It starred Jon Hall and Ilona Massey with villainous support by Peter Lorre and Sir Cedric Hardwicke as members of the axis powers. This was the 4th film in the original Invisible Man cycle, but it was not released until after the end of the WWII in Europe. This poster seldom comes up for sale or auction and would make a great addition to your Universal Horror movie poster collection.
