Up next is a rarely seen original Belgian movie poster from the first release of Columbia Pictures' drama romance set in the world of professional boxing,
Golden Boy
. This movie's cast included Barbara Stanwyck, Adolphe Menjou and William Holden in his first starring role
and was adapted from the hit Broadway play by Clifford Odets. This poster is from the original release of the film in Belgium. It was most likely released shortly after the war in Europe (1946 or 1947) since in is printed in the smaller post-war format which was common at the time in order to conserve paper. I have only seen one other example of this poster come up for auction in the past. This poster is in wonderful condition for its age with basically no defects except a couple of small border tears. It features exceptional artwork unique to this Belgian release poster and would make a great addition to anyone's Barbara Stanwyck movie poster collection.

CONDITION:
Very Good Condition. Untrimmed. Two small tears in the white borders. Folded in half as originally issued, this poster has been stored flat for some time and will be shipped rolled in a sturdy tube.
