FAIRBANKS CREAM SCALE dairy STEELYARD ROBERVAL c 1910 percentage and gram chart
One FAIRBANKS cream scale. Guess this might be a half roberval - half steelyard. Cast iron base with non-ferrous metal beam and associate moving parts. No glass bottle is included which would be an approx 2 inch diameter vessel. Has 4 pieces for balance, 2 poise, balance balls and a slding barrel weight. Complex readings on chart in percentages and grams. Guessing early 2th century for this model, 1910?
condition is pretty nice. Seems to function as intended. Nice alignment all around. Plated surface are tarnished. No glass specimen bottle. Looks like original paint and striping is worn and name can barely be seen on base in orange.
