Description

This is a high quality performance Fast Road Grind camshaft kit for the MGB using the 18V engine from 1972 to 1980.  These can be used in earlier MGBs as long as the longer later pushrods are used.  This kit is designed to achieve improved engine performance from 1500 rpm to a mid range performance for strong engine pull in the meat of your driving RPMs. The kit comes with a New CNC machined steel billet performance camshaft, UK made lifters with the correct hardness, heavy duty double valve springs and aircraft grade alloy valve spring caps.   This version of the kit includes valve springs that are 20% stiffer than the standard MGB Double Valve Springs.
This is our super popular D9 camshaft and its specs are
: Duration at .016 lift is 279, max lift .295 at the camshaft. By starting with a new camshaft blank you will have the largest base circle possible which will give you long camshaft life in your MGB.
With all of this, you will get a very strong driving camshaft, good idle and very smooth performance.
