. In this sequel to McCarey's Academy Award winning
Going My Way
, Father O'Malley (Bing Crosby) is sent to help a group of nuns lead by Sister Mary Benedict (Ingrid Bergman) as they try to acquire a new school building from a curmudgeonly businessman. This poster is from the 1st release of the film in Belgium after the end of WWII (probably 1947 or 1948). The artwork is beautiful and unique to the Belgian poster. Notice that Bergman is not portrayed as a nun in the artwork. It doesn't come up for sale or auction very often and would make a great addition to anyone's classic movie poster collection.

CONDITION:
Very Good Condition.  Untrimmed top white border. Slightest of yellowing to the paper. This poster has been stored flat for over 15 years and will be shipped rolled in a sturdy tube.
