Antique Scale Weight Hook 1700’s New England Blacksmith-Made Primitive EARLY

Offered Here is an Original, Antique, American Solid-Metal (Maybe Early Bog-Iron) “Hook + Weight” Beam Scale that was Probably Made and Used in the Mid-to-Late-1700’s.
Measuring about 18" Long, The Scale is Super Crudely but Ingeniously Hand-Made, The Principal Weight Features a Classic “Colonial-Arch” that appears to be Molded and is Concurrent with many Architectural and Other Industrial-Styles of the Same Period in Early American History.
CONDITION: The Scale Displays Natural Light Surface-Oxidation and has Typical Age-Discoloration or “Toning”, but NO FORMS OF “STRUCTURAL DAMAGE”. NO BREAKS, NO DISTRACTING SCUFFS, SCRATCHES OR “IMPACT-DINGS” NO APPARENT “MISSING PARTS”.
