Antique Scale Howe Co Rutland Vermont Cast Iron No. 2

I can't say I know much at all about old scales.  What you see is what you get.  I just got this out of an old barn in northern Wisconsin.  Has probably been in there for decades.   Shipping only to any of the 50 U.S. states.
Top of base marked in embossed letters:  HOWE SCALE CO  RUTLAND VT.  NO. 2.  Top center plate has embossed letters regarding patent info.
I washed this some with soap and water - I did not scrub too hard for fear of overcleaning.  I do not know if it may clean up better.
Scale is about 15" wide overall.  About 5" tall at the center plate.
Scale seems to be functional - at least it pivots freely up and down.  There are no other parts - I believe originally it would have come with some weights and a "tray" to hold items being weighed.  The brass piece along front is marked HOWE and is graduated up to 8 pounds.  There also looks to have been some gold colored lettering and decoration on center column.  Looks to read HOWE and 8 LB.  May read better with more cleaning, but I do not want to risk it.
I would say good condition overall.  You be the judge.  See photos please.
