Antique John Chatillion & Sons Wicker Baby/Nursery Scale 25lbs

Here is a rare Baby Basket Scale by John Chatilon & Sons, New York USA. It has 1944 hand written on the bottom that is not conclusive of anything that I can figure. The basket is mounted on a 4 way bracket similar to others by Chatillion. The piece is in great shape. It is not completely square as it from every angle, just from age. It weighs with ballpark accuracy and has a re-zero adjustment. The highest point is 16 1/2" overall. The basket is 20 1/2" L x 11" W x 4" D in usuable area. The flared collar, which is mostly decorative, increases the baskets overall dimensions to depth of 5 5/8",  width to 16 1/4" and length to 23 1/2". There is no glass over the scale dial and possibly may not have been originally.  There is normal wear with the worst being a small dent at the 4 o 'clock position on the aluminum face trim.
