    Description

Set of four graduated sizes heavy weight cone-shape measurers made by Henry Troemner, Philadelphia, Pa.
    Made of brass
Made late 1800s to early 1900s
The largest size (Gallon) is 7" tall and is 6 3/4" diameter across bottom tapering to a 3" opening.
The next largest size (Quart) is 5 1/4" tall and is 5 1/4" diameter across bottom. .
The next largest size (Pint) is 4 1/4"  tall and is 4 3/8" diameter across bottom.
The smallest size (Gill) is 3" tall and is 2 3/4" diameter across bottom tapering to a 1 1/4" opening.
The three largest sizes are all marked on the front with the size of the vessel and "Henry Troemner / Maker / Phila, Pa".  The smallest one is not marked, probably because not enough space to put the wording on.
Excellent condition.  The quart size has an ever-so-slight dent (almost can't see) dent on the rim on the top.
Very rare set.  Henry Troemner was known primarily for making brass scales and weights but he did make a few other things such as measurers.
