Antique Hanging Scales Balance Made of Leather, Wood, and Metal, Italy 1800s

This is completely unique and different from ANY of the other antique vintage scales out there. This belonged to my grandparents and it has been in their barn for decades. They brought this back from Italy and I can’t imagine what it was actually used for exactly. The scales are both made of wood, metal, and leather. The ropes are definitely old due to the years. The wood stem holding the scales may have been replaced at some point over the years because it doesn’t look as antique as the rope and scales themselves.
This is perfect for decor on a rustic, farmhouse style. These will get TONS of attention and compliments! You will NOT find any other scales like these made with leather, wood, and metal.
