Antique Gold Fairbanks Morse MID CENTURY VALET DOCTOR SCALE - Model 6341 - WORKS

Description

Up for auction is an antique Fairbanks Morse "health scale" valet doctor's scale. This fantastically retro scale still has most of its original gold paint, is operational, and looks like something straight out of the Jetsons.  This scale would make an awesome and functional décor piece for any doctor or fitness enthusiast
.
It measures approximately 44.5 in. tall x 20 in. wide x 19.5 in. deep. There is some minor paint loss and dents, as seen in the pictures. There is also a piece of scotch tape and faint droplet residue of some kind (maybe oil?) on the front that we have not attempted to clean off. Many of the screws have been replaced but the replacements are the correct fit to the different sizes of holes on the scale
. The screws that were not replaced appear to be original.
