    This is a beautiful piece of American workmanship. This old pitless scale is in good condition for age.  Lots of brass and maybe hand forged steel parts??   It is called a McDonald Brothers Pitless Scale but was manufactured by the Moline Plow Co. in their McDonald Scale Branch in Stoughton, Wis.  It weighs about 30 lbs and is about 40" long.  It's a real beauty.
