    Description

    Turn of the century antique Canadian postal or letter scale with original marked weight set. Scale body is cast iron with steel chain and brass pans.  Included are 6 brass weights from 8 OZ down to 1/4 OZ  (1 OZ is not original to the scale) Original weights to the scale is almost unheard of.  This is a great looking balance and is all original with much of the original paint and a nice patina only comes with true age.  There is a bit of rust, mostly on the bottom and some dust and soiled areas.  I have had this scale for almost 35 years and am liquidating many more I have collected over time, give my listings a look.
