Condition: Antique Hanson scale, Chicago, USA, with rare brass face. It is marked with 3 patent dates, with the last being Sept 5, 1899. It is white in color with a black dial and brass face. It has some green felt on the bottom. There are various dings on the face. It is marked in pounds and 1/16, 1/8, 1/4th, ½ and so on, up to 24 pounds. There is a small block of wood under the scale. The dial is in working order however, I am not sure how accurate it is. The scale measures 8.25” high, 5.25” long and 5.25” wide. The tray measures 5.25”X5.25”. It weighs 3 pounds prior to packaging. Rare find with a brass face, great collectors’ piece. Thanks for looking.
