Americana Classic style twist pen, padauk wood, gold hardware, Parker refill

This handmade pen
was turned from a block of orangish wood that I think is Padauk.   After turning, I sanded the wood to 600 grit, then applied friction polish to a medium-high shine.  The pen was then assembled using gold hardware.  This is a twist style of pen where twisting the gold end of the hardware extends the ink refill and retracts it.  The black and gold end of the pen unscrews to replace the ink refill.
I tried to show detail in the set so you can see what it looks like.
The pen uses a standard Parker style refill and can be replaced with a gel refill if desired.  Gel or regular ink refills are available at any office supply store.
