Amazing Thermoplastic Gutta Percha Case Daguerreotype Double 6 1/4 !. I did not take the pictures out to see if anything was behind them. I was too afraid to damage this amazing antique set. I have never seen two people on one side of the case. I think the condition is amazing. The glass has some dirt but it will clean off, I did not do anything as I know condition is everything with these. The man is elegant and good looking. There is some little lighter spots on the case. It latched tight. It is not in the least bit warped. Nice and flat. No repairs. No cracks. The case has flowers and possibly strawberries on it.
I love it but it needs a home that knows how to care properly for it. The reflections are from my camera in the glass. Both images are in wonderful condition.
