. This was the brother's second outing for MGM after their huge success in
A Night At The Opera
. This is also the final film produced by Irving Thalberg before his tragic death. Though not as successful at the box office as
Night...
, it is still considered one of the brother's finest and funniest films. This poster is from the 2nd re-release of the film in Belgium, probably in the early to mid 1950's. The delightful animation artwork pays homage to the artwork created by  Al Hirschfeld for the 1937 (pre-war) release of this film in Belgium.  Despite the overall yellowing of the paper, this poster is in great condition for its age with vivid colors and no other visible defects. It seldom comes up for sale or auction and would make a great addition to anyone's Marx Bros. or classic comedy poster collection.

CONDITION:
Very Good Untrimmed Condition On Linen. Prior to being backed on linen, this poster was untrimmed and appears not to have been folded. It does show a discernable degree of yellowing to the paper, especially as see against the white background of the linen. Artwork is very vivid and completely intact. This poster has been stored flat for 24 years and will be shipped rolled in a sturdy tube.
