My Wife, Nancy and I have used KIRBY LESTER counting machines in the practice of Pharmacy for over 40 years,  starting with our first KL-7 in our Pharmacy in the 1972. Later, more experience was gained, during 11 years in a mail-order setting, keeping KL-15e's, KL-7s, KL-8s, KL-8plus, KL-Xs, and KL-15s operational, fixing broken ones, and replacing parts, electronic boards, bulbs and fuses. Then, relief pharmacy work allowed us to use and become acquainted with many different counting systems and newer Kirby models as they were released .

We also repair other Kirbys, Including the KL-15e, KL-15, K-11, K-10, K-9, KL-X, KL-8, and the KL-7.  But, the parts for models other than KL-X are not as readily available, and so repairs are not always possible. But, then we will make an offer on the working parts that we can use.
