1961 Vintage Rare Canadian Red Silver Lunchbox Thermos by Aladdin Canada Wow!!!!

Vintage & Rare "Canadian Issued"
1961
"Red & Silver"
Lunchbox & Correct matching Canadian Thermos in Fine Condition & issued  61 years ago by Aladdin Canada. Classic Aladdin Canadian design in that the lunchbox has the silver sideband & Rivets on top, bottom & sides of the lunchbox. Also does not have the safety first graphics on the inside lid as per all Aladdin lunchboxes produced in the USA of that time. Also as tough as it is to find these Canadian issued lunchboxes from the 1960's it's 10 times harder to find them with the correct matching Canadian made thermos. Well this set is complete with that thermos which is stamped Aladdin Industries Canada Ltd Toronto on the bottom & has the correct Canadian style cup which has no handle which the USA issued thermos cups do have..... 1960's Canadian issued Aladdin lunchboxes & thermoses are very tough to find & this set was picked up here in Canada at a antiques store some years ago...The USA version of this lunchbox can be found on page 169 of Larry Aikens 1992 Lunchbox Guide however it has tan color sidebands & this Canadian version has the classic silver sidebands as found on all Aladdin Canadian issued lunchboxes..
