    Description

    You are bidding on the Holt Howard 1958 Made in Japan ceramic Pencil Sharpener and Tape dispenser seen in the photos!
    Piece included the cork in the base of the neck (to hold in pencil shavings) but does not include the tape roll core or the metal cutter at the tail.
    Given the top heavy weight to this, this could not have ever been very functional as pulling off a piece of tape would tip it over, so this is really a display piece in all intents and purposes.
    Sharpener works particularly well, just sharpened a penci and it is SHARP!
    No chips, cracks, breaks, crazing or physical flaws of note.  Minor paint loss here and there, see pics.
    Please note, the head also fits very loosely in the neck.  Perhaps there was a rubber gasket on it originally?  I don't know.
