    Description

    FANTASTIC 1910? "PROPERTY OF P. O. DEPT." POST OFFICE DEPARTMENT 20# SCALE WITH HANGING PLATE!  SCALE WAS MADE BY "TRINER SCALE & MFG. CO.CHICAGO, ILL. U. S. A." Triner began making scales in 1903 and I am guessing this one is from around 1910.  Scale, plate, and handle are all in excellent condition.  You won't find a nicer one and it is still useable!  Plate is about 13" in diameter.  Scale is about 6.5" in diameter (9.5" across with connectors).
    This is a GREAT early Post Office collectible scale and early scale from Triner Scale & Manufacturing Company that is still in business.  It would make a FANTASTIC display item
    or a present for a Postal Worker or collector! It is also a nice historical item for the collector from Chicago, IL.  Triner scales are in the Made-In-Chicago Museum.  All of my items are guaranteed to be as described.  Thanks for bidding and good luck!
