The black paper is definitely old. But, probably not the original backing paper. There are some minor losses of the emulsion of the ambro under the metal matt. The positive point is that on the front the ambro appears as excellent & intact surface-wise with the exception of a minute 1/32 of an inch emulsion loss at bottom right corner at 4 o’clock edge position since the other minor flaws are behind the metal matt. The case is in pleasing condition on the front & back sides showing only minor wear. The case is separated at the hinge. The two ends of the bottom section of the case could be improved with a little bit of careful gluing back of the partially loose edges.
